The SORROW SOCIAL ORGANISATION has been operational for the past 15 years. Through the years we have touched innumerable lives and helped transform the same for the better. With time, we have thought of opening a smart digital school for the needy children of the society.

The SORROW SOCIAL ORGANISATION “JOSEPH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL” hopes to impart quality education to the poor and needy children. We have all been to school for our basic education, right? Well, it was more of traditional schooling. But now with the evolution of times, the effects of technology have been felt in the education sector too. We all keep hearing about a smart class, digital education. So, what exactly is included in a digital education and how is it different from a traditional class?

A digital school is where technology is applied to take the education process forward. The understanding of the lessons among the students is a lot better with smart classes. As we know information is amply available on the internet nowadays. How will a child know which one is the authentic study material for them? A teacher is entitled to provide this guidance. The idea of digital education has been formulated keeping in mind the different advantages. Let us check out some:

However, we also believe that education should be coupled with healthcare, if we want to experience an overall development of the people of our society. This holds true for children as well. Within Sorrow Social Organization, a team is dedicated to healthcare.

We provide basic medical checkup and medicine coverage for people in Kolkata and outside Kolkata as well. Everyone in our organization volunteer for the work and try their best to devote time out of their family lives for the people of the society. After all, what good is this life if we do not care about each other. Indian healthcare is progressing and getting better. Yet, we are a huge country and even after the progress not everyone has access to healthcare. We as responsible group of individuals want to play our part and make basic healthcare facilities available free of cost.

In future, with better financial resources, we aim to provide free healthcare checkup and medicine supply throughout India. For now we are concentrating in West Bengal and states around West Bengal like Jharkhand and Bihar.

With generous donation from people and better strategic thinking, we hope our mission of improving Indian education and healthcare meets the desired expectations.

All the above characteristics help in providing a total development of a child. Also keeping the subject of gender equality in mind, the school hopes to provide education to both boys and girls. This will be beneficial to the female students. We believe that women must have access to education. This will help in bringing better days and uplifting society.

The forethought of opening a school in organization with a reputed NGO does not happen at a glance. We believe every child is entitled to basic education. This school hopes to bring a new dawn in the lives of the underpriviledged children. We hope to bring education to every door and every child who dreams of a brigher and better future.

With the establishment of the school we hope to train every deserving candidate and in turn create a successful future for himself/herself and their family. By enrolling one student we hope to influence the other houses in the neighbourhood. From one to one million, we hope to educate the entire city.We wish to reach out to the society and preach about the innumerable opportunities the doors of a school opens.
